We have come across this issue with some users recently and want to show everyone an easy solution. Some users are becoming ‘stuck’ when changing internet providers and no longer having access to their respective email accounts (Rogers, Bell-Aliant, etc.). This means they can no longer edit/reset their NL Classifieds password as the resulting emails will be sent to a now inaccessible account. This can also be an issue if your existing email account has been compromised or no longer in use.
1. To resolve this, you, the user can simply login at any point and change your account’s email address.
2. Once logged into your NL Classifieds account, the My Account menu will be displayed on the page. Click "My Profile" to access your full contact information.
4. You can also edit or add more profile information such as your contact name, phone number(s) and address from this same page.
Once this process is complete, you will no longer need your previous email address to access your NL Classifieds account. Your login information will now use your new inputted email address and it will also become the default email used when creating listings in the future.
3. Here you can complete your profile including updating the email address. Once this email address is changed in "My Profile" it will then also become the email address that must be used when logging into your NL Classifieds account.
*Note: Your account password will not change by updating your email address.
4. You can also edit or add more profile information such as your contact name, phone number(s) and address from this same page.
Once this process is complete, you will no longer need your previous email address to access your NL Classifieds account. Your login information will now use your new inputted email address and it will also become the default email used when creating listings in the future.
